We wanted to let you know that we are still open and able to continue to provide face to face consultations and care for you during these challenging times.
It goes without saying that, as Healthcare Practitioners, the health and safety of our patients and staff is our priority.
Our professional body the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Healthcare Professions Council have advised us that we are considered Key Workers and front line staff at this time and current guidelines are that we should continue to remain open to provide your healthcare needs.
Many of you know we take an holistic approach and Rodger has always practiced in a way that considers the relationship of mind and body. It has never been more important to keep you fit and healthy and active than at this time.
Let us help you to stay as well as possible and ensure also that any gains you have made if currently undergoing treatment can continue. We are taking the view that we are pulling together with local GP’s and hospitals to provide what care we can for people during this difficult time. As non urgent operations have been cancelled we are in talks with other clinicians to provide help until surgery can be provided. Call us if you have pain and your surgery is postponed and let’s see if we can help you.
How are we doing this?
We are still open as a buiness providing face to face consultations in the usual way but of course we have stepped up our normal hygeine policies in accordance with all up to date guidelines.
For those who are unable to attend for appointments – either because they are symptomatic or in isolation (for example the at risk groups and the elderly) we are now setting up Telehealth / Virtual Health appointments. More details to follow in a subsequent mailshot.
