Lockdown Update – Still Open

  • November 2, 2020

As we head into another lockdown we can confirm that Rodger Duckworth Physiotherapy will remain open as usual.

We realise how difficult lockdown was last time, some having to suffer in pain with little access to care. We are pleased Prime Minister Boris Johnson has stated “it is vital that we keep provision for non-Covid healthcare groups going” and goes on to say, “unless your clinicians tell you otherwise, you should continue to turn up for your appointments.”

Those who have recently attended the Practice will know, we have been wearing the required PPE (masks, gloves and aprons as clinically appropriate) and have a 1:1 ratio in the Practice, with social distancing and Covid-19 measures in place.

We are doing everything possible to ensure your safety whilst receiving your healthcare and will continue to review our COVID triage policies in line with our professional body’s guidance, to ensure the safety of patients and staff alike.

For those shielding or concerned regarding face to face visits, we can provide online physiotherapy. Please don’t feel stuck – we can help. Call us and we will do our best to meet your needs.

This is a really stressful time for most – both personally and for small businesses. We are touched by the loyalty of our patients throughout these trying times and thank you deeply. With your help and support, we shall continue to provide healthcare to the community.
