Senior Administrator Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a new position as Senior Administrator in a Private Physiotherapy and Healthcare Practice in central Wokingham. Our family owned business of more than 25 years is seeking a forward thinking and dedicated person for reception and general administration. We require someone with a caring disposition with a  willingness to learn about and promote Physiotherapy services to advise our patients optimally. Working together with clinicians to understand and refine all that we do the successful candidate will exemplify excellent customer service.


This role will suit someone who is a self-starter and who can take the initiative. We encourage ideas from everyone to improve and maintain what we do. We are looking to move the Practice forward with a drive on customer experience and marketing, and this role may suit a candidate who is up-to-date with technology to provide this cutting edge service. We welcome someone who is prepared to contribute, take ownership of and promote new initiatives within the clinic to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. A modern approach with a dynamic, energetic attitude is what we seek, yet in a small, friendly and close-knit team. You will work alongside a Junior Administrator/ Marketing who will share reception and basic admin roles. There is no requirement for accounts experience, but may be helpful. You will need to provide cover for each other’s holidays. Hours are daytime hours Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5:00 but some flexibility may be required. Job share considered.


Day-to-day tasks include:


Answering the phone and emails

Answering enquires from patients about services

Planning the diaries for clinicians using practice management system (training provided)

Data input

Manage orders for office supplies

Meet and greet patients

Help keeping records and systems up to date

Taking customer payments


The successful candidate for the Senior Administrator position will ideally have the following skills and experience:


Have excellent IT skills – Word and Excel

Have exemplary attention to detail

Be able to multi-task

Great organisation skills

Excellent communication skills

Have a ‘can do’ attitude

Effective working on their own but works well in a small friendly team

Smart attire and cheerful disposition


Job training will be provided in-situ with additional support as required


Job type:             Full-time

Salary:                   £23,000.00 – £25,000.00 per year

Customer service: Might suit someone with hotel/hospitality admin experience or cabin crew with admin skills

Competent IT/Office skills and unfazed attitude to IT
